This mid-sea reef of forms a horseshoe shape lagoon. The reef wall drops down to a sandy bottom of 8 meters at the anchor point. Further west around the reef it deepens to about 15 meters with more coral. Three small ergs located just off the reef point at the farthest end are residence to glassfish and other small fish. The ergs are also full of colorful soft corals with deep crevasses—great for photography. Continuing along the reef wall, the seabed reforms into a coral garden.
