The majority of amenities and activities at this resort are included in the room rate; guests will not be charged extra for meals, drinks, activities, or use of land sports equipment.
Resembling a grand Arabian palace the hotel’s imposing gates, marble pillars, fountains and colourful domes make a striking architectural backdrop for the leisure activities offered at this hotel. There are three outdoor pools where guests can relax in the sun and enjoy snacks and drinks from the pool bar. Kids will be kept entertained at the mini-club with daily supervised activities and there is a children’s pool. For the energetic, there is a fitness room with gym equipment and after a workout guests can relax in the spa tub, sauna and steam room. There is also a massage treatment room. As well as various sports programmes during the day there are daily entertainment shows at the open air amphitheatre, one of the highlights being a grand theatrical sound and light show with traditional folk music and dancing, depicting life in ancient Egypt and performed against a background of the sphinxes and temples of the Pharaohs. During the day guests can take the free shuttle to the beach, browse through the 30 shops in the hotel shopping arcade, or take the shuttle bus to Hurghada city centre (surcharge).
This hotel features 222 air-conditioned guestrooms spread over low-rise two story buildings. All have a classic decor with marble floors and bright fabrics, and balconies with views of the pools and gardens, and all include satellite TV, minibars and telephones.
Guests can enjoy water polo and water gymnastics, play mini-golf, or practice their serve on the hard tennis court (30 minutes free per room per day). There is a multi-purpose court for basketball, football and volleyball. Table tennis, billiards and darts are on offer in the games room. More adventurous guests can also go camel and horse back riding, and the private beach (500 metres away) offers plenty of opportunities for sea swimming, water sports and diving.
