Description & Location
This site is near North Abu Ramada, about an hour from Hurghada. Situated on the southern tip of the South Abu Ramada is a small islet with 3 large rock formations separated from the main island. Mooring points are located to the east where a sloping wall quickly drops to 35 meters. Quite a bit further out is a rounded grotto that has several entry points. It's home to a vast variety of soft coral, cardinal fish, soldier fish and sweepers. Toward the southwest are plenty of shallow pinnacles inhabited by abundant fish life.

About the Dive
Almost always quiet in this area unless an occasional south wind develops. No need to be concerned with currents here, if any is present, it will hardly be noticeable. Starting from the mooring point, go west to the deepest pinnacle which is around 25 meters. Look for a split that goes through the top giving it a clam like appearance. You should see lots of interesting fish living inside this pinnacle; look for glass eyes, sweet lips, soldier fish and hatchet fish. Continue on to the shallower shelf located behind the clam like pinnacle. This will head you toward shallower water to enjoy lots of smaller pinnacles and back to the mooring point.

Reef Life & Special Interests
It is not unusual to see lots of free swimming moray eels, napoleons, sweet lips, unicorn fish, goatfish, banner fish and even squid, if you look closely.
